On the sidelines of his official meeting at the White House, the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye, held several strategic meetings in Washington.
He met with a high-level delegation from Boeing, led by Mr. Michael Schnabel, Executive Vice President in charge of international operations. The discussions focused on strengthening the partnership with Air Senegal, particularly through the acquisition of high-performance aircraft, the development of local capacities, and the creation of skilled jobs in the Senegalese aeronautics sector.
President Diomaye also met with the leadership of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) to discuss prospects for enhanced cooperation in ongoing and future structural economic development projects in Senegal.
Finally, he had the pleasure of engaging with Senegalese executives holding senior positions at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank, discussing economic challenges and opportunities for sustainable growth in our country.
These fruitful exchanges reflect President Diomaye’s firm commitment to actively promoting strong and beneficial partnerships for Senegal’s future.
