The President of the Republic, His Excellency Bassirou Diomaye Faye, conducted a field visit this Sunday to the sites of the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.
This visit allowed the Head of State to assess the progress achieved and to reaffirm his ambition to make Dakar 2026 an exemplary event for Senegal, for Africa, and for the youth of the world.
The President congratulated the technical teams and partners involved in the various projects, while urging the Government and all stakeholders to intensify their efforts to ensure the timely delivery of modern, inclusive, and sustainable infrastructure.
Beyond sports, the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games embody a united, creative, and civic-minded Senegalese youth, the bearers of a collective legacy of cohesion and national pride.
