On this Saturday, March 15, during the blessed month of Ramadan, His Excellency the President of the Republic, accompanied by a ministerial delegation and territorial authorities, visited Touba and Darou Mouhty to offer condolences following the passing of Serigne Moustapha Saliou Mbacké, Serigne Dame Atta Mbacké, Serigne Amdy Modou Mbenda Fall, and Serigne Bassirou Anta Niang Mbacké.
In Touba, he was received by the General Khalife of the Mourides, Serigne Mountakha Mbacké, at Darou Miname. After a one-on-one meeting followed by a prayer session, the President visited the families of the deceased Serigne Moustapha Saliou Mbacké, Serigne Amdy Modou Mbenda Fall, and Serigne Dame Atta Mbacké to express his condolences.
In Darou Mouhty, President Bassirou Diomaye Faye paid tribute to Serigne Bassirou Anta Niang Mbacké in the presence of the Khalife and his family, in a moment of reflection and prayer.
