At the conclusion of his participation in the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4), held in Seville, in the Andalusian region of southern Spain, His Excellency Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye, President of the Republic of Senegal, returned to Dakar on Wednesday afternoon.
Upon his return to national territory, the Head of State solemnly addressed the Nation. He reflected on the main takeaways from his mission to Seville in the context of FFD4, before expressing his deep concern regarding the events that occurred in the localities of Cambérène and Rosso. In this regard, he reaffirmed the constant attention given by the highest authorities to these situations and the State’s determination to provide appropriate responses.
