The President of the Republic received Ms. Amina J. Mohammed, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, this morning.
The discussions focused on the longstanding partnership between Senegal and the United Nations, which both parties are committed to further strengthening. The meeting also provided an opportunity for a broad exchange of views on the political and security situation around the world, with particular attention to the Sahel region.
The United Nations reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Senegal in addressing its economic and development challenges.
