The Head of State granted an audience to the Executive Board of the Dakar City Council, led by Mayor Abass Fall.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the strategic issues related to the organization of the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games. The City Council outlined its priorities to ensure that this global event becomes an opportunity for sustainable transformation of the capital, particularly in terms of urban environment, infrastructure, and international visibility.
The delegation expressed its satisfaction with the President of the Republic’s attentive listening and his interest in the concerns of the City of Dakar in the preparation for the Youth Olympic Games.
