President Bassirou Diomaye Faye received, this Thursday at the Palace of the Republic, Mohamed Aly Ould Sidi Mohamed, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to Senegal, on the occasion of the conclusion of his diplomatic mission in the country.
During this cordial meeting, the Head of State commended the Mauritanian Ambassador’s decisive contribution to strengthening the historic ties of friendship, cooperation, and good neighbourliness between Senegal and Mauritania.
The President of the Republic expressed his deep appreciation for the quality of the work carried out by the diplomat throughout his tenure, highlighting his unwavering commitment to dialogue and to the consolidation of the fraternal relations between the two countries.
At the conclusion of the audience, the Head of State conveyed to Mohamed Aly Ould Sidi Mohamed his most sincere wishes for every success in the continuation of his diplomatic career, in support of the excellent Senegalese–Mauritanian bilateral relations.
