The President of the Republic meets with the Executive Director of UN-Habitat to strengthen cooperation on sustainable urban development.

The Head of State held an audience with Ms. Anaclaudia Rossbach, Executive Director of UN-Habitat and United Nations Under-Secretary-General.
Ms. Rossbach commended the government for the progress achieved in the field of urbanization, particularly in terms of planning, territorial development, and improvement of the living environment. She also confirmed that UN-Habitat will continue to support the State in implementing public policies aimed at sustainable, inclusive, and better-structured urban development.
The meeting provided an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of well-managed urbanization for the well-being of the population and territorial balance.
