The President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, departed Dakar today for Madrid as part of an official visit to the Kingdom of Spain scheduled from March 24 to 26, 2026.
This visit is part of a broader effort to strengthen the longstanding ties of friendship and cooperation between Senegal and Spain. It will feature high-level discussions with Spanish authorities, as well as the exploration of new partnership opportunities in areas of mutual interest.
Through this visit, Senegal reaffirms its commitment to deepening a strategic and mutually beneficial cooperation, in service of development and closer ties between the Senegalese and Spanish peoples.
