His Excellency Bassirou Diomaye Faye, President of the Republic, departed Dakar on Tuesday for Doha.
The Head of State is travelling to the State of Qatar to attend the funeral of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the former Emir of Qatar and father of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.
The President of the Republic is scheduled to return to Dakar at the conclusion of his visit on 15 July 2026.
