The President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, received this afternoon the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Moctar Ould Djay, on an official visit to Senegal.
The Mauritanian Head of Government briefed the Head of State on the outcomes of his stay, which was marked by in-depth discussions and a convergence of views on shared strategic priorities. He praised the quality of the bilateral partnership and the positive momentum of cooperation between the two countries, driven by the commitment of both Heads of State.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister conveyed to the President of the Republic a message of friendship and fraternity from His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, reaffirming the shared determination to work together to strengthen the historic ties of solidarity, cooperation, and good neighborliness between Senegal and Mauritania.
