On Thursday, 4 December 2025, the President of the Republic granted an audience to Mr. Greg Stough, Vice President of the American group SEABOARD and Chief Executive Officer of Grands Moulins de Dakar (GMD). He was accompanied by the United States Ambassador to Senegal.
During the discussions, Mr. Stough presented to the Head of State SEABOARD’s new investment plan for the coming years. As a major player in the agri-food sector, the group intends to mobilize 100 million dollars to support the implementation of Senegal Vision 2050, modernize its industrial capacities, and strengthen its contribution to national food security.
This commitment confirms the renewed confidence of international partners in Senegal’s economic momentum and in the structural reforms undertaken by the authorities.
