The President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, received in audience on Friday, 13 February 2026, Mr. Recit SINANLI, Chief Executive Officer of the Sinanli Group, a Turkish company behind the construction of the ultramodern gold refinery established in Diamniadio.
With a production capacity of 350 kilograms of gold per day, this strategic infrastructure represents a major step forward in the local processing of mineral resources and the strengthening of national industrial sovereignty. It fully aligns with the national drive to add value to raw materials and create skilled jobs.
Beyond this state-of-the-art facility, discussions also focused on expanding bilateral cooperation into other key sectors, notably energy and construction, with a view to boosting productive investments and supporting Senegal’s economic transformation.
