The President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, received this afternoon the Angolan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Tété António, in audience.
As a special envoy and bearer of a message from João Lourenço, President-in-Office of the African Union, the Angolan Foreign Minister conveyed a fraternal message to his Senegalese counterpart.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between Dakar and Luanda, in a spirit of strategic partnership and African solidarity. Both parties also reviewed the progress and implementation of the cooperation agreements concluded between Senegal and Angola, expressing a common desire to accelerate their execution for the benefit of both peoples.
