The President of the Republic will, on Wednesday 17 December 2025, preside over the solemn presentation of the National Flag to the national football team, as they depart for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), to be held in the Kingdom of Morocco. This highly symbolic ceremony reflects the commitment and support of the entire Nation for the Lions in their quest for another continental achievement.
