On Thursday, August 21, 2025, the Government of Senegal and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at strengthening human resource development.
This ambitious partnership includes the construction of an annex to the Senegal-Japan Vocational and Technical Training Center in Diamniadio. Leading Japanese companies, such as Toyota Tsusho, Daikin, Yamaha, Toda, and NEC, will support this project by actively contributing to the training and transfer of skills to Senegalese youth.
This initiative marks a decisive step toward improving employability and enhancing the competitiveness of Senegal’s national economy.
