The President of the Republic received in audience today Ms. Tomoko Akane, President of the International Criminal Court (ICC).
The ICC President commended Senegal's leading role among States Parties and the strength of a cooperation built on commitment to international justice, the fight against impunity, and the defense of human rights.
The discussions also focused on strengthening judicial cooperation mechanisms and on contemporary challenges in international criminal justice.
