During a working visit to Dakar, Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira was received on Thursday by the Head of State at the Republic Palace. In the course of this meeting, Mr. Vieira expressed Brazil’s desire to establish a close and fruitful relationship with Senegal, particularly in the areas of economic, agricultural, and technological cooperation, to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries.
On the same day, President Faye also granted an audience to Gérardine Mukeshimana, Vice-President of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). This meeting reflects IFAD’s commitment to supporting the agricultural policy of the Senegalese government.
