Senegal Signs a $10 Million Strategic Partnership with the Gates Foundation to Accelerate the Technological New Deal.

President Bassirou Diomaye Faye today received Mr. Bill Gates, Chairman of the Gates Foundation, on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly.

This meeting marked an important milestone with the conclusion of a strategic partnership worth over 10 million dollars, aimed at accelerating the Technological New Deal initiated by the Head of State.

The partnership will enable the deployment of a universal digital identity, the establishment of an Artificial Intelligence hub to drive innovation in health and agriculture, and the creation of a Delivery Unit to ensure transparency and efficiency.

By strengthening their collaboration, Senegal and the Gates Foundation are opening a new era, positioning the country as an African hub of digital innovation and providing every citizen with tangible opportunities for an inclusive and prosperous future.
