On the sidelines of the 38th African Union Summit, the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, attended the presentation of Senegal's Report at the 34th Summit of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) in Addis Ababa. Senegal, faithful to its commitment to good governance and transparency, highlighted its efforts for responsible and equitable management of its mineral resources. The Head of State reiterated the importance of this participatory governance to ensure sustainable exploitation of natural resources for the benefit of the population. Senegal will continue its reforms to strengthen the rule of law, transparency, and the effectiveness of public policies, in line with its vision of inclusive and sovereign development.
