As part of efforts to strengthen the historic ties of friendship, fraternity, and cooperation between Senegal and The Gambia, the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye, and his Gambian counterpart, His Excellency Mr. Adama Barrow, will co-chair the 4th Session of the Senegal–Gambia Presidential Council in Dakar.
This important bilateral meeting represents the highest framework for consultation between the two States. It aims to assess the progress made in implementing their joint commitments and to define new avenues for cooperation in strategic sectors such as security, transport, energy, trade, sub-regional integration, and the free movement of people and goods.
