The President of the Republic, His Excellency Bassirou Diomaye Faye, received on Friday a delegation of the collective of traditional leaders of the municipality of Yenne.
During the meeting, the delegation presented to the Head of State the concerns of local communities regarding the occupation of their land in connection with the construction works of the Ndayane Port. The discussions helped lay the groundwork for dialogue on this sensitive issue, which involves both the rights of the affected populations and broader development challenges.
