On Thursday, September 18, 2025, the President of the Republic, His Excellency Bassirou Diomaye Faye, granted an audience to Mr. Pape Madiaw Ndiaye, Chairman of the Board of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated.
This meeting is part of efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships between the State of Senegal and key players in the pan-African banking sector.
On this occasion, the Ecobank Group reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the government in implementing the "Senegal 2050" vision, an ambitious roadmap for the country’s sustainable and inclusive development.
Several areas of collaboration were discussed, including direct financing for major infrastructure projects and support for the private sector through targeted advisory and assistance services.
