The President of the Republic received in audience a delegation from King Saud University Medical City, one of the largest academic medical centers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by its Chief Executive Officer, Professor Ahmad Hersi.
The meeting helped outline the contours of a partnership focused on training health professionals, a key dimension of health cooperation between Dakar and Riyadh. The prospect of the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games gives this partnership concrete significance, both in meeting the demands of high-level sports medicine and in preparing teams trained to operate at the scale of an Olympic event.
