His Excellency Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye, President of the Republic of Senegal, departed Dakar this morning for Japan on an official visit from August 18 to 26, 2025.
During this trip, the Head of State will participate in the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) and will also attend Senegal Day at the Osaka Kansai World Exposition 2025.
This visit is part of the ongoing effort to strengthen the strategic partnership between Senegal and Japan, based on shared values.
