The President of the Republic departed Dakar on Wednesday for Accra, where he will participate in the High-Level Consultative Conference on the Next Steps Towards the Adoption of the United Nations Resolution on the Trade in Enslaved Africans.
Held in the Ghanaian capital, this high-level meeting brings together Heads of State and Government, ministers, legal experts, academics, and representatives of regional and international organizations.
The conference aims to define the next steps in advancing remembrance, recognition, and reparatory justice.
