His Excellency President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, President of the Republic of Senegal, departed Dakar this morning for Freetown, Republic of Sierra Leone.
The President will participate in the Summit on the Future of Regional Integration in West Africa, as well as the 69th Ordinary Session of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
The high-level meetings, bringing together leaders from across the region, will focus on key issues related to regional integration, cooperation, and solidarity among the peoples of West Africa.
President Faye's visit to Freetown will take place from 18 to 19 July 2026.
