The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye, today granted an audience to Ms. Anne Rigail, Chief Executive Officer of Air France, who led a delegation from the airline.
Air France reaffirmed the strategic importance of Dakar within its international network, thereby underscoring Senegal’s central role as a leading regional hub in West Africa.
Discussions also focused on prospects for partnership with Air Sénégal, with a view to complementarity and the consolidation of the national aviation hub. This dynamic aims to strengthen international connectivity, support economic development, and advance Senegal’s ambition to establish itself as a key crossroads for exchanges in West Africa.
