President Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye received in audience a delegation from the West African Development Bank (BOAD), led by its President, Mr. Serge Ekoué.
Discussions first focused on the particularly encouraging results achieved by the institution for the 2025 financial year. This performance strengthens BOAD’s role as the financial arm of West African integration and enhances its capacity to support the economies of the sub-region.
In continuation of these discussions, the institution reaffirmed its full support for Senegal in addressing the country’s current debt situation. This backing reflects African solidarity in action and aligns with the approach led by the Head of State, with consistency and determination, in search of the best possible outcome for Senegal and its people.
