The President of the Republic of Benin, H.E. Mr. Romuald Wadagni, paid a friendship and working visit to Senegal this morning.
Arriving at around 10:00 a.m. at Léopold Sédar Senghor Military Airport, where he was welcomed with full honors by the President of the Republic, H.E. Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye, the Beninese President first held a private meeting with his counterpart in the airport’s VIP lounge.
Their discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations, enhancing economic and financial cooperation, and addressing the security and political challenges shared across the West African region.
The talks continued at the Presidential Palace, where both leaders reaffirmed their shared commitment to consolidating the Dakar–Cotonou partnership and injecting new momentum into sub-regional integration and trade development.
