The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye, left Dakar this Saturday, May 30, for a working visit to the sister Republic of The Gambia.
Beyond its diplomatic significance, this trip underscores an evident reality: between Dakar and Banjul, ties go beyond borders. History, cultures, languages, and families have shaped a uniquely close destiny in our sub-region.
The discussions between the two Heads of State will focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation, as well as on issues of integration, peace, security, and shared development.
