President Bassirou Diomaye Faye meets with the Director General of the Qatar Fund for Development and the President of the Goldman Sachs Institute to discuss strategic investment opportunities.

Present in Qatar for the Doha Forum, His Excellency Bassirou Diomaye Faye, President of the Republic, met today with Mr. Fahad Al-Sulaiti, Director General of the Qatar Fund for Development. 

Discussions focused on the exceptional quality of cooperation between Senegal and Qatar, which will be strengthened by a significant increase in Qatari investments in priority sectors of the Senegal Vision 2050. Enhanced collaboration between the private sectors of both nations was also discussed.

In addition to the DG of the Qatar Fund for Development, the Head of State held an audience with Mr. Jared Cohen, President of the Goldman Sachs Institute, addressing investment opportunities in Senegal, particularly in key projects under Vision Senegal 2050.

These meetings reflect the President’s firm commitment to mobilizing partners around strategic investments to achieve Senegal’s ambitions for sustainable and inclusive development.
