The first day of the official visit of the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye, to Gabon was marked by two highlights.
In the morning, the President, alongside his Gabonese counterpart, President Brice Oligui Nguema, received military honors before being warmly welcomed by the Senegalese community, which turned out in large numbers to express their attachment to him.
In the afternoon, the Head of State took part in enriching and friendly meetings with representatives of various organizations of the Senegalese community established in Libreville and the Gabonese provinces. These moments of exchange allowed for addressing the concerns and aspirations of Senegalese residents in Gabon.
