His Excellency President Bassirou Diomaye Faye granted two high-level audiences on Thursday to delegations from the Agency for Cooperation between Senegal and Guinea-Bissau (AGC) and the Association of Supreme Audit Institutions Sharing the Use of French (AISCCUF).
In the morning, the Head of State welcomed a delegation from the AGC, led by Mr. Inussa Baldé. During the meeting, Mr. Baldé provided an overview of the organization’s activities, highlighting its achievements and ambitions to strengthen bilateral ties between the two neighboring nations. Discussions focused on the AGC’s development prospects, particularly in the economic and social sectors.
In the afternoon, President Faye also received a delegation from the AISCCUF, headed by Mr. Mamadou Faye, First President of the Senegal Court of Audit. Gathered in Dakar for a conclave, the representatives of this organization shared the conclusions of their work, which centered on the challenges of climate change for Francophone supreme audit institutions. These exchanges underscored the importance of responsible governance in addressing global environmental issues.
