President Bassirou Diomaye Faye departs from Dakar for an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, followed by a trip to Qatar.

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Bassirou Diomaye Faye, departed from Dakar this morning to travel to the United Arab Emirates, where he will undertake an official visit from December 4 to 6, 2024, at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the Emirates.

Following this visit, the Head of State will attend the Doha Forum in Qatar from December 6 to 8, 2024, at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar. This forum is an international event dedicated to major global issues such as governance, security, and sustainable development.
