The President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, departed Dakar this morning for a trip to the Middle East.
This visit is part of an official visit to Kuwait, scheduled from 12 to 14 January 2026, and aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between Senegal and the State of Kuwait.
Following this stage of the trip, the Head of State will take part in Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week on 14 and 15 January 2026, a major international event dedicated to the challenges of sustainable development, energy transition, and innovation
