The President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, presided over the official ceremony for the submission of the 2023-2024 annual report of the High Council for Social Dialogue on Friday, May 30, 2025.
On this occasion, the Head of State commended the commitment of the tripartite stakeholders for their contribution to calming the social climate and strengthening professional relations. He reaffirmed that social stability is a key lever for economic transformation and social justice.
The submission of this report takes place in a context marked by the signing, on May 1, 2025, of the National Pact for Social Stability and Inclusive and Sustainable Growth, the result of broad consensus among the government, employers' organizations, and trade union federations.
The President of the Republic highlighted the perfect alignment between this dynamic and the ongoing National Dialogue, which embodies the will to rebuild the Republic on the principles of listening, shared responsibility, and systemic transformation.
He called on all ministries to establish sectoral social dialogue committees to anticipate conflicts and ensure the continuity of public services in a spirit of national cohesion.
