The opening ceremony of the 22nd Doha Forum was held today, December 7, 2024, in the presence of the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye. This event, which runs until December 8, addresses crucial themes such as global governance and security. The forum, under the slogan "Diplomacy, Dialogue, Diversity," brings together world leaders to discuss contemporary challenges and develop action-oriented policies and recommendations.
On the sidelines of this ceremony, President Faye met with the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, as well as the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. They discussed bilateral cooperation and new partnership opportunities in political, economic, and diplomatic fields.
