This Thursday, October 16, 2025, starting at 4:30 PM GMT, the Palace of the Republic will host the official ceremony for the presentation of the White Paper on the Thiaroye Massacre to His Excellency Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye, President of the Republic.
The result of rigorous work conducted by a scientific and memorial committee, this White Paper represents a major contribution to reconstructing the historical truth about the tragic events that occurred in Thiaroye in December 1944, in the aftermath of World War II.
