In Saudi Arabia, during the Future Investment Initiative Forum 2024, the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye, took the opportunity to perform the minor pilgrimage, Umrah, in Mecca.
On this occasion, the doors of the Holy Kaaba, located in Masjid-e-Haram, were exceptionally opened to the Head of State and his delegation, following an instruction from His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia. This symbolic gesture reflects the esteem the Saudi leader holds for his guest and the quality of relations between Senegal and Saudi Arabia.
In this unique moment of reflection, President FAYE offered prayers for peace, prosperity, and unity for Senegal, invoking divine guidance for a future of solidarity and shared success between our two nations.
