Luanda: President Faye Holds Talks with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz on Bilateral Cooperation.

This afternoon in Luanda, Angola, the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, held talks with the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Friedrich Merz. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the European Union–African Union Summit.

The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the economic, energy, security, and technological sectors. The two leaders also addressed regional and multilateral issues, as well as partnership opportunities aimed at supporting Senegal’s strategic priorities and promoting coordinated action in response to contemporary challenges.
