Focus - 2025 May 28
The proceedings of the National Dialogue on the Political System were officially launched on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the Abdou Diouf International Conference Center (CICAD) in Diamniadio.
In the presence of His Excellency Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye, representatives of political parties, civil society, religious and traditional authorities, trade unions, youth and women's organizations, as well as the nation's vital forces, this ceremony marks the start of a historic consultation. The aim is to thoroughly rethink Senegal's political and electoral framework in a spirit of inclusion and national cohesion.
