
On the sidelines of his state visit to Kigali, the President of the Republic, His Excellency Bassirou Diomaye Faye, met on Saturday with the Senegalese community living in Rwanda, as well as Senegalese professionals established in the country.
In an atmosphere of warmth and attentiveness, the Head of State engaged with his compatriots about their professional experiences, integration, and contributions to Senegal’s influence abroad.
President Faye praised the commitment, expertise, and sense of duty of these Senegalese individuals who, each in their own way, contribute to promoting the country’s image and values. He reaffirmed the central role of the diaspora in the national vision of transformation and development under his leadership.
The meeting was marked by a strong sense of fraternity, solidarity, and shared pride, reflecting the unity and vitality of the Senegalese community in Rwanda and across the world.
