On Friday, December 13, 2024, the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, will inaugurate the new vaccination center at the Pasteur Institute in Diamniadio, a significant advancement in the fight against diseases in Africa.
This complex, located near Dakar, is designed to produce vaccines against COVID-19 and other epidemic diseases. It aims to achieve a production capacity of 30 million doses per year, thereby enhancing the health security of Senegalese and Africans. This project is part of a broader initiative for health sovereignty on the continent.
