After taking part in the General Debate of the 80th United Nations General Assembly earlier in the morning, the President of the Republic granted an audience to H.E. Ms. Francia Márquez, Vice President of the Republic of Colombia.
The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation between Senegal and Colombia and welcomed the convergence of their positions on major multilateral issues.
They also called for greater partnerships between Africa, South America, and the Caribbean, within a spirit of solidarity and South-South cooperation, with the aim of promoting social justice, inclusion, and sustainable development.
