On the sidelines of his stay in New York for the 80th United Nations General Assembly, the President of the Republic made it a point to meet with the Senegalese community in the United States, in keeping with the tradition that accompanies each of his trips abroad. In a warm and fraternal setting, the Head of State engaged with our compatriots from various states, who came to voice their concerns, share their issues, and present their initiatives. The President reaffirmed the unwavering support of the State and the Nation, while emphasizing that the diaspora holds a central place in the national strategy for transformation and development.
