On 17 February 2026, in Diamniadio, His Excellency Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye, President of the Republic, will preside over the solemn groundbreaking ceremony for the Maison des Avocats (Lawyers’ House), also known as the Senegal Bar Training School.
This strategic project, part of the Senegal 2050 vision, aims to provide the Bar with high-quality infrastructure, including modern training rooms, an auditorium, administrative offices, and appropriate teaching tools. It will effectively prepare future lawyers for the Certificate of Aptitude, strengthen continuing professional development, and promote excellence within the profession.
In the presence of judicial authorities, members of the Bar Association, and key stakeholders from the sector, the ceremony will symbolize the State’s strong commitment to a strengthened, more independent, accessible justice system that serves citizens.
