
The President of the Republic left Cap Skirring for Dakar at the conclusion of a five-day economic tour of the Ziguinchor and Sédhiou regions.
This field tour included visits to major development projects, meetings with local populations, elected officials, economic stakeholders, and religious and traditional authorities, as well as exchanges with the defense and security forces.
Through this immersion, the Head of State reaffirmed his commitment to consolidating peace, sustainably opening up the territories, revitalizing the local economy, and accelerating the implementation of the actions outlined in the Diomaye Plan for Casamance, aimed at balanced development and the well-being of the population.
This tour reflects a governance approach based on proximity, listening, action, and rigorous follow-up on the commitments made.
