The official visit of the President of the Republic to the Republic of the Congo concluded in Brazzaville in a spirit of trust, mutual respect, and shared ambition.
High-level discussions between the two Heads of State reaffirmed the strength of the historical ties between Senegal and the Republic of the Congo, while opening new prospects for a deeper, more structured partnership firmly oriented toward the future, both at the bilateral level and with regard to major African and international issues.
At the time of departure, following a final one-on-one meeting at the Palais du Peuple and the rendering of military honors, the visit stands as an important milestone in strengthening the Dakar–Brazzaville axis, in the service of the interests of both peoples and of a more united and more sovereign Africa.
