According to the republican calendar, the Day dedicated to the Senegalese Armed Forces will be celebrated on Friday, November 8, 2024, under the theme “Towards the Technological and Industrial Sovereignty of the Armed Forces.” In Dakar, the ceremony will take place at Dial Diop neighborhood starting at 8:30 AM, presided over by His Excellency Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. It will feature a military parade, a wreath-laying at the Memorial of Remembrance, the naming of promotions from the Military Health School (EMS) and the National School of Active Officers (ENOA), as well as a visit to an exhibition of military equipment.
